About our research investment

The Kids’ Cancer Project funds and co-funds research projects solely via philanthropic donations made by its incredible community.

In the decades that have followed its decision to fund research, tens of millions of dollars have been invested into innovative projects determined to have the best chance of assisting childhood cancer patients.

A research project’s feasibility is assessed and determined by The Kids’ Cancer Project’s Research Advisory Committee (RAC), with projects deemed to be worthy of funding recommended to The Kids’ Cancer Project’s Board of Directors before being formally approved.

Research projects we fund

The Kids' Cancer Project has committed over $75 million to research projects across Australia.

Col Reynolds Fellowships

The Col Reynolds Fellows are a cohort of researchers' intent on improving the lives of kids with cancer. Each of the 23 fellows have been carefully curated by The Kids’ Cancer Project’s Research Advisory Committee to investigate all areas of childhood cancer.
